Lbhealthcenter in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to create and monitor nursing staff schedules (monthly, bi-weekly, daily) to ensure adequate resident coverage and compliant care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor monthly, bi-weekly, and daily schedules for nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage for resident care.
• Ensure schedules comply with policies and governmental regulations.
• Coordinate schedule reviews with Director/Assistant Director of Nursing.
• Promote teamwork and provide assistance to coworkers.
• Respect residents' rights and privacy, including knocking before entering rooms.
• Maintain accountability and professional conduct in all interactions.

POSITION SUMMARY

Creates and monitors monthly, bi-weekly, and daily schedules for nursing staff in an efficient manner in accordance with established policies and procedures, and in compliance with governmental regulations to ensure adequate coverage to deliver quality care to our residents. *Must have a valid CNA Certificate*

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrates commitment to company's mission, values and standards of ethical behavior.

• Ensures that all residents are treated fair, with kindness, dignity, and respect, and their rights are protected at all times
• Respects and upholds all residents' personal and property rights whenever carrying out duties, including knocking before entering a resident's room.
• Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Prepares daily, bi-weekly and monthly schedules for nursing staff to provide adequate coverage for resident care.
• Schedules completely and in a timely fashion for review by Director of Nursing and/or Assistant Director of Nursing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

* Must have Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certificate

• Previous nursing or healthcare experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
