Qualifications

• SBV experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a nursing facility.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate contact list of nursing department employees.
• Track attendance, tardiness, and absenteeism and report to the DON.
• Coordinate modified work duty schedules with HR and the DON.
• Assist staff with scheduling inquiries and forms.
• Create, post, and maintain monthly nursing schedules with proper coverage.
• Resolve staffing and scheduling concerns promptly.
• Provide IDs, time cards, and schedules to new hires before orientation.
• Collaborate with nursing supervisors to meet staffing needs.
• Keep records of staff certifications and licenses and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Serve as backup for the Unit Secretary when needed.
• Adjust staffing levels based on census changes to minimize overtime.
• Prepare payroll for the nursing department and manage agency staffing.

About the Role

Artis Care Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staffing Coordinator to join our team. This vital role ensures proper nursing staff coverage to meet the needs of our residents while supporting smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date contact list of all nursing department employees.
