Job summary

United Methodist Communities in Western New Jersey is seeking a Staffing Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for per diem shifts. The role offers $24/hour base pay with evening ($1), night ($2), and weekend ($4) differentials, and flexible day, evening, and night scheduling.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, following care plans, documenting care, and providing compassionate, individualized support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current and active New Jersey CNA certification is required.
• At least 6 months experience in a long-term care setting.
• Flu vaccination is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Fill in and provide coverage for open and agreed upon shifts.
• Provide daily personal care support to residents including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Follow resident care plans and complete documentation to support continuity of care.
• Conduct regular rounds on residents to provide consistent, individualized support.
• Assist residents during mealtimes and with mobility equipment.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and work collaboratively with team members.
