Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a Staffing Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) on a per diem basis in New Jersey. The role offers $24/hr and per diem shifts with day, evening, and night options to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Current and active New Jersey CNA certification (required).
• At least 6 months experience in long-term care setting (required).
• Flu vaccination (required).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Fill in and provide coverage for open and agreed upon shifts.
• Provide daily personal care support to residents including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Follow resident care plans and complete appropriate documentation to support continuity of care.
• Conduct regular rounds on residents to provide consistent, individualized support.
• Assist residents during mealtimes and with mobility equipment.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and work collaboratively with team members.
