Job summary

United Counseling Service of Bennington County, Inc. (UCS) is seeking a Program Manager within Developmental Services. You will provide strategic leadership, supervise Coordinators, and ensure high‑quality client services across multiple programs.

You will coordinate housing solutions, staff trainings, and documentation while maintaining regulatory standards and effective reporting systems. This role requires strong communication and a commitment to community‑based care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years of management experience in a mental health setting.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and lead program teams in a regulatory environment.
• Experience coordinating services, documentation, training, and performance evaluations.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative supervision to Program Coordinators and monitor service quality.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, staff supervision, and housing placements for clients.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely completion of documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate staff training, supervision meetings, and staff development initiatives.
• Support DS team in crisis response and on‑call coverage as needed.
