Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) is seeking a supervisor to oversee Specialized Direct Support Professionals and support housing and crisis services. The role requires coordinating staff, maintaining service quality, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple programs.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or have five years of related supervisory experience, with strong computer skills and experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years’ experience in similar role.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign and direct the work of Direct Support Professionals (SDSPs).
• Monitor service quality and assist with program operations.
• Develop staff schedules and oversee required staff training.
• Participate in person-centered planning and goal development.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager to ensure policy compliance.
• May participate in the DS Emergency On-Call System.
• Work with clinical staff and Public Safety Specialists to facilitate communication.
• Ensure training compliance and approved restraint procedures.
• Complete monthly census and regulatory reporting.
• Fulfill monthly reporting and update EMR/census.
