Job summary

Harvey is seeking a Staff Web Developer to lead the architecture and integration of harvey.ai across all web surfaces. You will own the Next.js/Vercel stack, Sanity CMS, and backend services, ensuring reliability, observability, and scalable performance for marketing and GTM needs.

You will set data foundations, automate deployments, implement robust testing, and drive AI/ML enhancements in production web experiences while mentoring a small, frontend-focused team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of web development with backend and systems expertise.
• Experience with React/Next.js and TypeScript in production.
• Experience operating headless CMS platforms at scale.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead technically.

Responsibilities

• Own the web platform architecture end to end (Next.js/Vercel, Sanity, APIs).
• Design data foundations linking marketing, analytics, CRM, and GTM.
• Establish CI/CD, preview tooling, and automated testing.
• Set observability standards: logging, tracing, Core Web Vitals.
• Lead AI/ML integration into web workflows and content ops.
• Collaborate with Security & Infra to harden the platform.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team.
