Job summary

Okta is seeking a Staff-level UX researcher to own an AI-forward research roadmap at the intersection of Identity, Security, and AI. You will drive qualitative and quantitative methods to shape user experiences for non-deterministic AI agents and enterprise platforms, leveraging agentic tools to scale research operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on UX research in complex B2B, developer, or enterprise software environments.
• Demonstrated equal mastery across Qualitative and Quantitative research methodologies.
• Active daily practitioner of AI tools and prompt workflows to streamline research processes.
• Experience with developers, administrators, or other technical audiences; security products a plus.
• Strong strategic problem solving and independent work with business constraints.
• History of cross-functional communication with Product, Design, ML Engineering, Data Science.
• Mentorship and leadership; advancing team capabilities.
• Master's or Ph.D. in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, CS, Data Science, Social Sciences, or equivalent.
