Job summary

Okta seeks a senior designer to help shape the emergent products that secure AI agents and developer-facing tooling. You will prototype in-browser, design within React/Next.js, and craft interfaces that balance simplicity with precise security workflows.

You bring at least six years of design experience, plus a track record shipping code or side projects. A real AI practice and the ability to design for developers are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design experience; prototyping in the browser.
• Experience shipping side projects or writing production code to perfect interactions.
• Experience designing for developers (APIs, SDKs, dashboards).
• A real AI workflow and opinions on where AI tools help or fall short.

Responsibilities

• Prototype at volume using AI tools and code to explore directions quickly, then narrow based on impact.
• Design in the codebase within our React/Next.js environment to refine components users interact with.
• Turn complex authorization models and security flows into clear interfaces without losing precision.
• Raise the craft by sharing practical design approaches within the broader team.
