Rivian Automotive in Carson, CA is seeking an experienced EPC Software Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery of embedded software for Electric Power Conversion products, including inverter software. You will partner with the EPC Hardware TPM and software, systems, validation, and vehicle leads to set the software roadmap and align releases to vehicle program milestones.

This role requires independent judgment, indirect leadership, and the ability to build and improve program

Formación

• Must have experience owning schedule, release, and integration milestones for embedded controls software deployed in vehicle ECUs.
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Background in automotive, energy, or similar technical industry.
• Experience with OTA and software release processes for production vehicles
• Series-production and launch experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project life cycle.

Responsabilidades

• Own multi-program EPC software roadmap, release plan and critical path across vehicle platforms and variants.
• Plan and track software-hardware bring-up, feature maturity gates and validation (SIL/HIL, DV/PV).
• Coordinate supplier and contract-manufacturer software deliverables, integration and releases.
• Drive requirements traceability, defect management and RCA closure using Flow and Jira.
• Identify and elevate risk to senior leadership, with mitigation options.
• Establish program governance, reporting and metrics, and mentor other TPMs.
• Accountable for ensuring software team is meeting deliverables by tracking progress, task execution, and focusing on the critical path.
• Identify development risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies and communicate them to leadership.
• Evaluate and adjust priorities as issues arise.
• Orchestrate project reviews and drive product/process optimization.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve program visibility and efficiency, while keeping engineering data secure.
