Job summary

Walmart Global Tech is seeking a Staff, Technical Program Manager for Data & AI Governance. You will own cross-functional programs across domestic and international markets, drive intake and governance for restricted data, and ensure data classification, layer placement, and access review are executed smoothly.

You will partner with vendors and enterprise teams to land platform requirements into release cycles, build scalable governance motions, and align stakeholders to enable responsible AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area.
• 5 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, or related area.
• 7 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Drive data requirements into release cycles for third-party enterprise AI platforms and internally built AI platforms, bringing new platforms into production.
• Own business unit relationships across the organization, and international markets to align on data needs and priorities.
• Lead intake, prioritization, and governance execution for restricted data, including classification, layer placement, and access review.
• Land agent and prompt data across all platforms to support enterprise AI ROI reporting.
• Build a repeatable onboarding motion for new business units that run without Director-level involvement.
• Resolve data ownership gaps across business units, including Finance, to ensure clean, sustained data landing.
