Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a Staff TPM to lead a high-impact productivity initiative at the heart of our engineering efforts. You will partner with DevAmp and senior leaders to set the vision, align engineering, product, and data science around measurable outcomes, and drive a step-change in how engineers work.

You will own roadmaps, manage change across teams, and enable AI-powered tooling while maintaining strong executive presence and risk-aware execution. Seattle relocation is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a TPM, Engineering Lead, or Engineering Manager.
• Ability to influence in a matrix environment and drive decisions without direct authority.
• Strong technical credibility to challenge architecture and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the roadmap for doubling developer productivity across Duolingo.
• Lead organizational change management as teams adopt new ways of working.
• Partner with DevAmp leads to accelerate productivity with AI-powered tooling.
• Deliver strategic cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch with autonomy.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, data science, QA, and exec leadership for alignment.
