Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a Staff TPM to drive a center-stage engineering initiative focused on dramatically increasing developer productivity and reducing effort across teams. You will partner with DevAmp leads to accelerate tooling, set measurable goals, and guide cross-functional programs from conception to launch.

You thrive in ambiguity, have a bias for outcomes, and can align leaders and engineers toward a shared vision with clear milestones and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a TPM, engineering lead, or engineering manager.
• Experience leading large-scale technical transformation programs with measurable impact.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the roadmap for doubling developer productivity across Duolingo, aligning engineering, product, and data science.
• Lead organizational change management as engineering teams adopt new ways of working.
• Partner with DevAmp Area leads to accelerate productivity through AI-powered tooling and measurable programs.
• Lead delivery of strategic, cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch with autonomy across workstreams.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, data science, QA, and executives to ensure alignment and execution.
