Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required or higher with 12+ years experience; Master’s with 10+; PhD with 8+ in Mechanical/Electrical or related fields.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Thermal design/analysis experience for spacecraft or avionics subsystems is required.
• Experience with thermal testing, requirements derivation, verification, and advanced materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop thermal-system requirements and designs for spacecraft/avionics.
• Perform thermal analyses to optimize thermal-control designs and deliver solutions.
• Document analyses and designs for internal and customer review.
• Review drawings for thermal-design hardware; coordinate with test engineering for subsystem tests.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other disciplines.
