Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking a Staff Test Readiness Lead to own end-to-end testing architecture, strategy, and execution for next-generation products and infrastructure.

You will lead a high-performing team of test hardware and software engineers, coordinating with Front-End and Back-End leaders to maximize test coverage and throughput. The role requires six to twelve years of experience in test engineering with strong debugging skills and the ability to articulate coverage with designers and site

Qualifications

• Six to twelve years in test engineering across structural and functional test, with real debug experience on early builds.
• Able to discuss coverage with a designer and yield with a site manager.
• Rack-level or tray-level specialization depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Design and software engineering
• Site test engineering and the on-site test SMEs
• DFx CoE for testability
• PMO for fixtures and equipment suppliers
• Issue the MTRS with coverage targets per insertion
• Agree reduced-scope EVT test with design and report coverage at EVT exit
• Sign the Test Readiness Review before Build Authorization
• Own test limits and guardband with the design authority
• Own golden unit designation and monitoring of diagnostics
• Drive early-build debugging to root cause and attribution at 8D closure
• Verify station correlation, Gage R&R and data capture before the build
• Track NPI-phase DPPM and test time against budget
• Feed test escapes into the DFT rule set
