Muon Space is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for our Software Test team in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software testing processes and experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop testing. This role involves shaping the architecture of our software testing infrastructure and improving testing capabilities.

The candidate should have over 10 years of experience, strong programming skills in Python, and familiarity with version control systems. A competitive salary range of $210,000 – $234,000 plus equity grant is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver comprehensive testing procedures and infrastructure.
• 10+ years' experience as a software engineer in a team environment.
• Familiarity with common electronics test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Muon's Software Test infrastructure team.
• Define department-wide metrics for test health.
• Mentor Test and Simulation team engineers.
