Comtech Telecommunications Corp. is hiring a Staff Telecommunications Engineer in Broomfield, CO to configure, test, and maintain telecom elements supporting SIP, SS7, TDM and CAMA for NG9-1-1 services.

You will collaborate with application teams to ensure 9-1-1 call processing and provide on-call support. The role requires at least 5 years in telecom, hands-on network experience, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience in telecommunications.
• 5+ years of telecommunications industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with SIP, SS7, ISDN, CAMA and related telephony protocols.
• Experience in network monitoring, documentation, and ISO compliance activities.
• Willing to work overtime to meet project deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain network and telecom elements for NG9-1-1 services.
• Coordinate with application teams to ensure 9-1-1 call processing and customer reporting.
• Provide tier III escalation and on-call support for service offerings.
• Monitor production systems and perform upgrades and circuit administration.
• Document configurations and participate in ISO-9000 and ISO-27001 compliance.
