Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or related engineering from ABET-accredited program with 3 years of utility telecom experience.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Experience in field commissioning preferred, including working solo in the field and guiding others.

Responsibilities

• Support design and commissioning of SCADA systems for electrical utilities and generation facilities.
• Assist in telecommunications network design using client standards or new standards.
• Prepare project deliverables: BOMs, specs, drawings, wiring diagrams, cable lists, SCADA points lists, and channel plans.
• Develop new processes, equipment, and methods through advanced tools and techniques.
• Communicate issues and assist in resolution; mentor less experienced staff.
• Collaborate with project managers to support schedules and client satisfaction.
• Contribute to proposal and presentation preparations.
• Adhere to QA/QC guidelines and comply with policies.
