Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Assistant Telecommunications Engineer to assist on complex utility projects including SCADA, distribution automation, cyber security, microwave, wireless networks, fiber optics, and smart grid.

You will help design networks, prepare materials and diagrams, and support project execution while adhering to schedules and QA/QC standards. AABET-accredited degree and strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing telecommunications networks per client standards or new standards.

• Contribute to project tasks using advanced tools, aiding development of new processes or methods.
• Identify and help resolve issues on projects as needed.
• Follow project schedules to meet deadlines and support QA/QC guidelines.
