Walmart is seeking an experienced technology strategy leader in Bentonville, AR to drive the Marketplace Tech & AI Strategy. You will translate market trends into actionable technology roadmaps and own cross-functional delivery, governance, and budgeting across multiple initiatives.

The role requires strong financial modeling, stakeholder influence, and mentoring of associates, with a focus on delivering innovative technology solutions while upholding Walmart's integrity and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, finance, strategy, or related area and 6 years’ experience in retail, eCommerce, strategy, operations, technology, management consulting, or related area
• 8 years’ experience in retail, eCommerce, strategy, operations, technology, management consulting or related area

Responsibilities

• Translate market, AI, and competitive trends into technology strategy for the Marketplace roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance to scope initiatives and resolve blockers.
• Own program governance including schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Build business cases for tech investments with cost modeling and gap analysis.
• Influence senior stakeholders and align cross-team priorities.
• Develop contingency plans and adapt strategy to market conditions.
• Coach associates to foster ownership and continuous improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
