Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Staff Technician - Manufacturing Documentation to manage change requests for manufacturing documentation and support readiness metrics across Northeast Work Centers. This onsite role ensures alignment of Work Instructions with PRISM, PDM and cMES.

You will maintain and release Manufacturing Data/Documentation Packages, configure MDPs across record systems, vault approved sheets, and oversee records management of operations forms and labels.

Qualifications

Role Overview

The Manufacturing Engineering Central Services, Manufacturing Documentation Services (MDS) Team manages the "readiness" of Work Instructions used to build over 18,000 primary part numbers in our Northeast Manufacturing Work centers.

MDS oversees each Work Instruction's configuration alignment across Raytheon business systems including Production Data Manager (PDM), PRISM (SAP) and CMES shop floor control.

As a Staff Technician - Manufacturing Documentation, your primary responsibilities will include engaging customers on manufacturing documentation change request activities and supporting process readiness metrics for Northeast Work Centers.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintaining and releasing Manufacturing Data/Documentation Packages (MDP) to production
• Managing Configuration of MDPs across business systems of record (PRISM, PDM, cMES)
• "Vaulting" approved process sheets in PDM and Work Instruction Servers
• Records Management of Operations forms and labels.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2 year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience with data or records management
• Experience with Microsoft Office or working with an MRP/ERP system (e.g. SAP/PRISM, Oracle, QuickBooks, Epicor)

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working with SAP/PRISM
• Proficient using Adobe Acrobat Professional or Kofax
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders

This job is posted as ONSITE and is based at Raytheon's Andover, MA facility.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is 58,400 USD - 111,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
