For our client, we are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will guide complex, cross-functional technical programs that span multiple teams and initiatives under a unified roadmap. The position will partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to turn strategy into actionable execution, while helping move ML/AI efforts from research into production. It will also shape operating rhythms, metrics, and technical forums that keep diverse teams aligned, informed, and moving toward delivery.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $145,747 – $300,067 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-workstream programs across multiple teams under a unified roadmap
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to translate strategy into actionable workstreams
• Drive the transition from research to production, overseeing model development and adoption
• Define and monitor key metrics to inform decision-making and ensure alignment
• Facilitate technical design forums to identify risks and align on solutions with senior leaders
• Establish scalable operating mechanisms for planning and reviews across diverse teams
• Utilize AI tools to automate tracking and reporting of program insights

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering roles, with a focus on ML/AI or platform programs
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Deep understanding of ML/AI systems and platform engineering, with the ability to analyze design documents
• Experience with LLM/multimodal model adoption and migrating workloads between model providers is a plus
• Proven ability to influence strategy at the VP and Director level in Product and Engineering
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and data-driven decision-making
• Exceptional communication skills for conveying technical concepts to executive audiences
