Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff PLT Integration Lead Systems Engineer (level 5) with a mechanical engineering background for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. The role focuses on system integration across mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems with DoD clearance requirements.

Responsibilities include architecture content development, requirements traceability, and collaboration with AF customers and national labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12 years’ experience; or master’s with 10 years; or PhD with 8 years.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with last 6 years of investigation.
• Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance and SAP approval.
• 5 years of experience with mechanical design.
• 2 years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations.
• 3 years of Systems Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical oversight of a large subcontract for Payload Reentry System and other sub-IPT projects.
• Participate in planning, system integration, verification/validation, cost/risk, and analyses for mechanical/electrical/integrated systems.
• Interface with the AF customer and external stakeholders such as National Labs.
• Collaborate with IPT counterparts to develop engineering artifacts.
• Develop and mature architecture content for large programs.
• Develop and incorporate system requirements and ensure proper representation in the model.
• Contribute to system requirements development/management/analysis.
• Develop model-based techniques, procedures, and processes.
• Develop integration con-ops procedures for PRS buildup.
