Job summary

Lanteris Space LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, seeks a Staff Systems Engineer for the 300 Systems Engineering group. The role focuses on Power and Thermal subsystems, ConOps, requirements flowdown, and verification across complex spacecraft designs.

Preferred location is our Palo Alto office in California, with involvement in ConOps, requirements management, and design reviews to ensure mission success and system integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or STEM; four extra years may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum 5 years in systems engineering or real-time control of complex systems, with emphasis in Power and Thermal subsystems.
• General understanding of spacecraft design and product life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead ConOps development and validation.
• Develop and flow requirements at mission, system, subsystem, and component levels.
• Manage requirements development and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain system budgets (mass, power, data).
• Lead system validation and verification planning.
• Oversee spacecraft testing and review results.
• Provide senior technical oversight for quality, rigor and discipline.
