Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or other related engineering field.
• 10+ years related experience.
• Master's in a STEM major preferred.
• Experience with electrical power schemes for medium voltage applications and utility-connected sites.
• Experience with systems engineering and requirements management in product development (e.g., V model).
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Ability to deliver in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Capture internal and external customer needs and system level requirements with Core Engineering, Business Partners, Product Owners and Product Managers.
• Execute development projects delivering products in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage product and system requirements and drive validation and verification activities.
• Coordinate technical reviews and contribute to system designs.
• Define system test strategy and perform hands-on product integration.
• Create and maintain SORs, block diagrams and system I/O definitions.
• Support product development plans (schedule, cost, inputs).
• Interface with internal personnel to provide technical support for projects.
• Travel to other Generac facilities and customer sites.
