Job summary

Generac Power Systems seeks a Field Project Engineer-Data Centers to drive remote and on-site project management for mission-critical power solutions. You will lead scope, schedule, and vendor contracts, while coordinating with dealers, engineering firms, and owners to ensure successful completions.

You will provide technical input during new product introductions and support integration with third-party systems. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of relevant experience in power generation equipment installation and operations.
• Willingness to travel domestically 25% to 50% of the time.
• Familiarity with project management tasks (SOW, Gantt, RASIC).

Responsibilities

• Lead project scope definition and objectives for various project types and complexities.
• Prepare overall project schedules and track deliverables to meet commitments.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers and communicate milestones.
• Provide technical support for integration of Generac products with third-party equipment.
• Support energy solutions sales with field requirements and diagrams.
