Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Roy, Utah, seeks a Staff Systems Engineer (T05) to lead the System Test Team (STT) for the Sentinel Program.

You will shape test strategies, mentor engineers, and deliver innovative solutions for complex challenges supporting mission success. The role requires a STEM degree with extensive related experience, active DoD Secret clearance, and strong leadership in systems engineering and requirements management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science in a STEM discipline with 12+ years of related experience OR Master of Science with 10+ years or PhD with 8+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (current and in-scope), with ability to obtain/maintain SAP approval.
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience with significant leadership responsibilities.
• 4+ years with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS).

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical leadership for development and execution of the Integrated Test Strategy and interfaces across multiple teams.
• Lead initiatives, determine technical courses of action, and influence priorities on major program decisions.
• Identify and resolve complex systems and test challenges with innovative solutions.
• Develop and approve ITS, ICDs, traceability matrices, and verification plans.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and serve as primary technical liaison to leadership and customers.
• Ensure requirements quality and traceability through lifecycle from planning to verification.
