ITW’s MTS division seeks a Staff Systems Engineer to own EPS controls and inverter architectures for ground road vehicles. You will lead motor controller design, power electronics topology, and real-time embedded software, partnering with the motor architect to deliver first-of-a-kind systems.

You will mentor engineers, define requirements, and coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure schedule, cost, and performance targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers is advantageous.
• Strong ability to define and document system requirements and architectures.

Responsabilités

• Own the inverter and motor controller architecture, including power electronics topology, gate drive, thermal management, and control hardware selection.
• Collaborate with engineers to define EPS controls and inverter solutions for markets.
• Lead trade-off analyses and performance assessments to meet requirements.
• Supervise a team of engineers and manage priorities and performance.
• Support field installation and customer transition as defined in contracts.
