Job summary

MTMUS is seeking a Senior Engineer, Control Systems to lead the development and deployment of advanced process control and vehicle control systems across MTMUS and suppliers. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive IPM/ECN changes, and ensure QCD targets are met during model launches.

The role requires 5+ years in production engineering, strong electrical control knowledge, and the ability to train engineers while maintaining up-to-date procedures.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering required; 5+ years in production engineering or maintenance in automotive OEM or related
• Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and process control practices
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to lead cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead Process Control System development projects to maintain QCD goals for Mazda models
• Develop and maintain control system components and production instruction systems
• Coordinate training, pre-production builds, and supplier collaboration to ensure changes meet objectives
• Support vehicle control system planning and implement countermeasures to mitigate risk during launches
