Qualifications

• 12+ years of post-grad industry experience in electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering.
• Strong design, development, integration, and test passion.
• Hands-on prototyping, debugging, and build experience.
• Experience developing automated tests and frameworks using Python or MATLAB.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to a positive, inclusive, collaborative culture.
• U.S. Secret security clearance or higher.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead development for an end-to-end solution by defining requirements and system architecture with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex environments.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience of software in distributed contexts.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.
• Define and document software engineering processes and practices, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
