Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking experienced systems engineers to design and manage the next generation of unmanned flight vehicles. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, architectures, and test plans, while integrating software and hardware components for reliable autonomous systems.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, thorough testing, and adherence to regulatory standards, with opportunities to influence product lifecycle from development to sustainment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post‑grad industry experience in electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering.
• Proven passion for systems design, integration, and test.
• Hands‑on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience.
• Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks in a common language (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for test planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead development for an end‑to‑end solution with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components meeting functional and performance requirements in complex environments.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience of software in distributed systems.
• Coordinate with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless software/hardware integration.
• Define and document software engineering processes to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
