Job summary

DuBois & King, Inc. seeks a Staff Structural Engineer with 0-5 years of experience in South Burlington, VT. This full-time role supports a busy Structural Engineering Group serving commercial, healthcare, government, and institutional projects across New England.

Responsibilities include preparing calculations under supervision, using Ram, EnerCalc, and RetainPro, AutoCAD and Revit, performing field surveys, and coordinating with a fast-paced team to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil or structural engineering.
• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency required.
• EIT in VT or NH or ability to obtain within 6–12 months preferred.
• Strong technical skills and clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare calculations under supervision using current material and building codes and relevant design standards.
• Assist with drawings and sketches in Revit, including completion of redlines.
• Conduct field work to survey existing conditions or review project conformance with plans.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment.
