Job summary

DuBois & King, Inc. in Vermont seeks a Civil Engineer with approximately 5–10 years of experience for a full-time position in the Site & Land division. The role emphasizes design, coordination, and project delivery within a collaborative team environment.

You will learn and apply AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS tools, assist in plans, specifications, and estimates, and conduct site reviews for feasibility and design projects. A PE or licensure within 12 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of civil engineering experience.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
• PE or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learning key engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS programs/conventions.
• Assist in the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Conduct site reviews as needed for feasibility studies, planning, and design projects.
• Provide conceptual, preliminary, and final design civil engineering support for all divisions.
• These tasks are likely to include: investigation, research, calculations, evaluation of alternatives, and design development on a variety of projects.
