Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, create and update treatment plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team. The role includes training facility staff and supervising CFY students, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

The position requires a degree in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure, plus ongoing education and CPR certification if applicable. A responsive team environment supports quality patient care and program development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; license in good standing.
• Maintain continuing education per state practices; CPR certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students as applicable.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
