Job summary

Impinj is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to work with our field sales team across the United States. You will serve as the technical liaison, helping integrate RAIN RFID into customer solutions and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in RF applications engineering or related electrical engineering fields supporting Enterprise customers.
• Broad engineering depth across hardware, software, networking, and Enterprise solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to represent Impinj to technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel 25-50%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Be the product technical domain specialist for our regional customer and field sales and primarily liaison into Impinj for ecosystem partner’s technical needs.
• Work closely with our regional sales team to promote Impinj Enterprise products at ecosystem partners throughout the US.
• Listen to understand customer use cases, pain points, and key requirements.
• Develop and implement solution strategies that solve significant business challenges using Impinj’s RAIN RFID platform.
• Provide technical support and training to ecosystem partners developing solutions based on our readers and gateways; provide onsite testing.
• Represent new customer requirements and market needs back to product management and engineering.
• Provide proactive in-region sales support for Impinj Endpoint ICs, Reader, Gateway and software products.
• Engage our ecosystem partners to build awareness about latest products, roadmaps, and know-how.
• Work with Sales, Marketing and Engineering to build and display demonstrations or proofs of concept.
• Develop key technical contacts and relationships with Enterprise customers.
