Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Staff Software Engineer based in McClellan, CA to lead software testing efforts and drive verification across complex systems. You will synthesize requirements, develop test plans, and collaborate with systems engineers and developers to ensure robust delivery.

Candidates should have advanced STEM degrees and extensive experience in software lifecycles, Agile practices, and containerized environments, with eligibility for Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in STEM with extensive related experience.
Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with SAP approval.
Experience with software lifecycle and leading software teams.

Responsibilities

Synthesize software requirements into verification and test plans.
Develop test plans, TRRs, test data and reports.
Execute software qualification and acceptance testing.
Collaborate with systems engineers and software developers.
Review test plans and witness testing as Cognizant Engineer.
Interface with customers and contribute to program deliverables.
