Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Integration & Test Engineering Manager 2 for the Northridge, CA site. This on-site role leads a multi-disciplinary team within Advanced Weapons to execute end-to-end integration, verification, and validation of defense systems, coordinating with program management, suppliers, and customers to meet schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or related STEM field; 8+ years in defense/aerospace; or Master’s with 6+ years.
• 4+ years in a leadership role overseeing integration and test with 10+ engineers.
• Experience with Test & Evaluation processes and defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration, verification, and validation of defense systems.
• Drive test plans, readiness reviews, and supplier coordination.
• Manage interfaces with customers, labs, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with MIL STD, ITAR, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide status dashboards and reports to leadership.
• Foster continuous improvement and MBSE adoption.
