Solomon Page is seeking a Staff Software Engineer / Technical Lead to join a growing Trading Systems team building enterprise-grade trading solutions for wealth managers, asset managers, multi-family offices and institutional investors. This hands-on leadership role blends architecture, design, and coding to modernize a mission-critical platform.

You will mentor engineers across global teams, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with Product Management to translate business requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Java backend and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience designing distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, and performance.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture initiatives for a multi-asset trading platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable distributed applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and AWS.
• Drive modernization for scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business requirements into solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers across globally distributed teams.
• Define technical standards and roadmaps; participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Prioritize engineering efforts and align technical direction with business goals.
• Work with teams in the United States and India to deliver strategic projects.
