Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep JavaScript expertise and production web applications experience.
• Experience designing APIs, data models, and integrations.
• Strong frontend fundamentals including HTML, CSS, accessibility, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering initiatives translating product needs into technical plans.
• Build and improve consumer subscription experiences (offers, checkout, onboarding, account management).
• Strengthen subscriber identity, access, and entitlements across web and mobile.
• Support experimentation and growth with reliable experiments and analytics.
• Evolve the publishing platform with reusable components and editors tools.
• Contribute to NYMag mobile app APIs and content models.
• Guide modernization and balance short-term delivery with long-term maintainability.
• Improve quality, testing, observability, performance, accessibility, and security across workflows.
• Develop and refine AI-assisted workflows with responsible validation and documentation.
