Job summary

Vox Media is seeking a Senior Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for editorial, podcast, revenue, and operations. You will partner with senior leaders, build proactive talent pipelines, and run bias-aware interview processes across our media brands. This is a permanent, full-time role located in our New York City office.

You should be a fan of our brands, with 6+ years of experience, strong sourcing skills, and a track record of closing candidates in fast-changing media environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in-house.
• Experience recruiting editorial, creative, and audio/podcast talent.
• Able to advise senior leaders and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Designing equitable, bias-aware hiring processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for editorial, podcast, revenue, and operations roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to scope roles and build hiring plans.
• Build proactive talent pipelines through sourcing and referrals.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience with clear communication.
• Structure bias-aware interview processes and write job scorecards.
• Manage multiple concurrent searches with timelines and details.
• Own offer strategy and negotiation with People leadership.
• Track pipeline health and recruiting metrics to flag risks.
• Stay current on media talent landscape and market insights.
