Chainguard is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for Harness, focusing on securing the software supply chain and building frontier AI-enabled tooling. You will own large parts of the Harness architecture, guiding technical decisions, and helping scale the product from beta toward a service used by many customers and environments.

You’ll work on security-first design, collaborate with Product and Security on threat models, and mentor a small team while balancing scale, cost, and technical debt.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Production services with strong security requirements.
• Experience designing systems with confidential customer data.

Responsabilidades

• Own major parts of Harness end to end from design to operation.
• Build security into the foundation and partner on threat models and reviews.
• Make Harness a reliable, observable, production-grade service with scalable tradeoffs.
• Work directly with customers, Product and field team; translate feedback into the roadmap.
• Mentor the team and demonstrate how AI tooling can accelerate work without compromising security.
