GoGuardian is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to build and maintain products in the Safety suite. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle on the Beacon Team, helping address school safety challenges while enabling insights and interventions for students in need of support.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years on SaaS engineering, strong Go/JavaScript/React skills, and experience deploying with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Remote role with competitive pay and health benefits.

Formación

• 8+ years of SaaS software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping at least one production application/product.
• Proficiency in Go, JavaScript/React, and MySQL.
• Experience with monitoring, performance optimization, technical documentation, and unit/integration testing.
• Up-to-date knowledge of full stack web development languages, libraries, and technology.
• Ability to make technical decisions and explain reasoning.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team toward feature delivery, independently or with others.
• Write production-grade code for well-scoped features with code reviewers.
• Lead the application architecture decision making process.
• Mentor other developers to improve team performance.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support.
• Learn and experiment with AI tools to improve customer experience and product offering.
