Job summary

Jack Henry in the United States is seeking a Staff Software Engineer who will independently lead technical design, prototyping, and the full software lifecycle. The role requires cross-functional collaboration and may be remote, with residency within 70 miles of an office in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; and other cities.

Qualifications

Minimum 9 years of software development experience.
Minimum 4 years of experience with C#.
Minimum 3 years of experience with APIs/Web Services.
Experience with design patterns and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

Leads product technical design, prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
Leads system analysis and programming activities for timely delivery of software into production.
Provides engineering support for new and existing applications from delivery to retirement.
Leads testing and reviews based on business requirements and best practices.
Creates and reviews technical documentation and collaborates with QA to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure software.
