Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive technical design and implementation across the full development lifecycle.

This role requires cross-functional collaboration and may be remote, with the constraint of residing within 70 miles of an office location in Allen, TX or other listed cities. You will lead design, prototyping, coding, testing, and deployment, mentor teammates, and ensure quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with C#.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with APIs/Web Services.
• Experience with design patterns and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product technical design, prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
• Lead system analysis and programming activities to ensure timely, effective delivery of software into production.
• Provide technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery through retirement.
• Lead testing and code reviews based on business requirements and best practices.
• Create and modify code with consideration for end users and internal teams; review code from less experienced members.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products; present options and advocate for optimal solutions.
