Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to independently lead the technical design and implementation of new products or enhancements.

The role spans the full development cycle from concept to release, with cross-functional collaboration and potential remote work within 70 miles of listed offices. You will influence architecture, drive quality through unit and integration testing, and mentor team members while adhering to standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of experience in software development.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with C#.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with APIs/Web Services.
• Experience with design patterns and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead product technical design, prototyping, software development, bug verification and delivery to production.
• Conduct system analysis and programming activities with timely, high-quality delivery.
• Provide engineering support from code delivery through retirement of the application.
• Lead testing and reviews based on requirements and industry best practices.
• Create and review required technical documentation.
