Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to independently lead technical design and implementation across the full software lifecycle.

You will work on cutting-edge financial services solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable software. This role may be remote within the United States, with a requirement to reside within 70 miles of listed office locations, including Monett, MO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of experience in software development.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with C#.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with APIs/Web Services.
• Experience with design patterns and/or SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
• Lead system analysis and programming activities with timely and quality delivery to production.
• Provide technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery to retirement.
• Lead testing and review of applications based on business requirements and best practices.
• Create and modify code using best practices; review code from less experienced members.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products; present options and advocate for optimal solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams; set and update expectations on size, scope, and timelines.
• Generate and review technical documentation and maintain current industry knowledge.
