Job summary
Bluesight is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to define technical direction for the 340BCheck team, spanning front-end, back-end, data, and infrastructure. You will drive architecture decisions, scale services, and guide a high-performing team committed to compliant healthcare data solutions.
In this senior technical leadership role, you will collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver multi-month initiatives while mentoring engineers and shaping the roadmap.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Ability to lead technical direction across multiple domains.
- Strong architectural decision-making across front-end, back-end, and infra.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for the 340BCheck team across multiple domains.
- Own critical architectural decisions for apps and services built on React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, and Terraform.
- Mentor senior engineers and escalate challenging technical issues.
- Lead cross-team coordination with Product, QA, and other engineering teams.
- Communicate complex tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
