Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector in Oklahoma City seeks a Staff Engineer Software to champion quality across software development for the B-2 programs. You will lead SSQA efforts, manage audits, and drive process improvements to ensure mission success.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, strong experience with QA processes, and collaboration with suppliers and customers on verification activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM field.
• Extensive experience in quality assurance and software lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lab processes and ensure standards compliance across development, test and evaluation phases.
• Lead ISO 9001 compliance activities including audits, test-readiness reviews and validation.
• Design and implement system integration checks, configuration verification and requirements verification.
• Execute lab equipment verifications and change control activities for accuracy and maintainability.
• Mentor the SSQA team to increase QE knowledge and capabilities.
• Collaborate with DCMA on First Article Inspections and present FAIs to customers.
