Qualifications

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Bachelor's or higher in CS or related field required.
• Experience in distributed systems and architecture improvements.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and evolution of PR systems at scale.
• Define and drive the PR Platform roadmap for reliability and scalability.
• Solve complex challenges across Git operations, databases, and APIs.
• Design, develop, test, and ship maintainable cross-service solutions.
• Own on-call health, incident response, and post-incident learning.
• Set standards for safety, testing, observability, and deployment.
• Write briefs, run experiments, and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Collaborate to define scalable interfaces and platform hardening.
• Provide mentorship, code and design reviews to engineers.
• Improve engineering and operational excellence through tooling.
