Job summary

Snowflake is hiring Senior Postgres Engineers to help build the new Snowflake Postgres service. You will design and implement an orchestration layer for large-scale databases, integrate with AWS, Azure, and GCP, and develop high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

The role requires deep knowledge of Postgres tuning, distributed systems, OS concepts, and security to protect customer data at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing, building and deploying large-scale production systems.
• Experience building and maintaining distributed, highly available, fault-tolerant services.
• Strong understanding of low-level OS concepts including multi-threading, memory management, networking, storage, performance.

Responsibilities
